SECCF and RRiF co-organize a very successful seminar on company valuation in Zagreb

On Tuesday, March 17th, SECCF organized a one-day seminar on company valuation jointly with well known Croatian accounting firm RRiF d.o.o. The seminar was attented by around 25 enthusiastic participants from Zagreb, Rijeka and other croatian cities.

The head lecturer at the seminar was Prof. Garen Markarian from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid (IE). IE is consistently rank among top three providers of executive and continuing education in Europe, together with INSEAD and London Business School. Prof. Markarian, an internationally-reknowned expert on company valuation gave a very clear and lively presentation covering the fundamentals of company valuations as well as specifics related to valuing small private companies.

Croatian perspective on the issue were given by dr. Neven Cirkveni, a prominent Croatian corporate lawyer who discussed legal due dilliegence process related to company valution, as well as dr. Vlado Brkanić from RR i F, who discussed the accounting aspects of company valuation.

Similar seminar in planned on May 28th in Belgrade.
