International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank group, is spearheading a multi-year regional program related to corporate governance. The program is assisting companies and banks in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia to improve their corporate governance practices. The Corporate Governance Program is implemented by the International Finance Corporatation with the support of the Government of Switzerland through the State Secretariat of Economic Affairs (SECO).

SECCF shares the IFC's committment to improve the ways in which companies in the region do business. Towards that end, SECCF has partnered up with the IFC to incorporate issues on corporate governance best practices in SECCF educational programs. In addition, the two partners jointly organize some DBF courses.
